Muckleshoot Recreation Complex

Helix Design Group designed the concept for this 75,000 SF recreation complex, which combines many indoor and outdoor recreation activities within a single complex. The complex will include a multi-purpose building, concessions building with covered play area, arbor structure, picnic shelter, and BMX park.

Orientated on an axis to Mount Rainier, the new complex accommodates adjacent natural features and unifies multiple activities. The multi-purpose building, arbor structure, and other miscellaneous structures incorporate materials and building forms similar to other campus buildings.

The project will be constructed in multiple phases with special attention to site and soil conditions.
