Tahoma Market
We are proud to have completed multiple projects for the Tahoma brand for Marine View Ventures and the Puyallup Tribe of Indians including the ground-up design of Tahoma Market and the renovation of multiple Tahoma Express locations throughout the south sound area.
Tahoma Market consists of a six-acre site off Pacific Highway in Fife and includes the largest Shell fueling station in the country, a state-of-the-art car wash and over 12,000 SF and features a broad selection of groceries and convenience items. Exterior materials and colors take queues from the adjacent Emerald Queen Casino and include a combination of metal paneling and CMU walls, aluminum storefront, metal and acrylic canopies, and colorful lightboxes.
The interior finishes follow a bright, colorful palette and include a contrasting combination of contemporary materials with a farmer’s market feel. We also coordinated the furniture, fixture, and equipment package. Some of the components included: cooler/freezer system and doors, chilled merchandising units, soup dispenser unit, all gondola shelving, merchandise tables, beverage and coffee machines, specialty produce and wine merchandisers.
Additionally, we completed renovations, upgrades and additions to four existing Tahoma Express convenience-store and fueling stations. Complete renovations were made to the site, fueling, exterior and interior of each station. All new interior finishes, including interior signage and all furniture, fixtures and equipment, as well as exterior finishes were installed and upgraded to match the new Tahoma design standard.
Our graphics department worked with the Owner to create the Tahoma branding and design standards and coordinated all interior and exterior signage and wayfinding, including pylon and monument signs, exterior wall signs and lighting, site wayfinding, interior signage, artwork, merchandising systems, and advertising campaigns.
